About Me
I work at the intersection of image-guided therapy, clinical trial operations, and quantitative imaging.
I am a Postdoctoral Clinical Research Fellow in the Department of Interventional Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital / Harvard Medical School, working under the mentorship of Dr. Yan Epelboym. I received my medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Pakistan, where I developed a strong foundation in clinical medicine and research.
My interest in Interventional Radiology was shaped through hands-on clinical exposure, particularly during clinical electives at Washington University in St. Louis, where I participated in a wide range of image-guided procedures including embolization and tumor ablation.
I am actively involved as a co-investigator and research coordinator in multiple clinical trials, including the ELECTRC embolization trial and the PCN trial. My work focuses on patient selection, procedural planning, angiographic interpretation, and longitudinal outcomes research.
I was drawn to Interventional Radiology because it uniquely combines procedural skill with longitudinal patient care. I am especially interested in anatomy, pathology, physiology, pharmacology, and the way IR continues to evolve alongside AI and modern medicine.
