Interventional Radiology | MSK Embolization • Brigham & Women’s Hospital & Harvard Medical School
Yan’s Lab is a translational research group at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School dedicated to advancing interventional radiology techniques, especially musculoskeletal (MSK) embolization therapies. MSK embolization is an emerging minimally invasive procedure that selectively occludes targeted blood vessels to reduce pain, inflammation, and abnormal vascularity in conditions such as osteoarthritis and chronic tendon disease. The lab integrates advanced imaging, clinical outcomes research, and collaborative trial design to develop evidence-based approaches that improve patient quality of life and functional outcomes.
